It helps you to understand the importance of materials, use, durability and end of life options early on in the clothing design process, so you can harness the potential of a circular clothing model and significantly reduce the 222,000 tonnes of clothing that goes to Australian landfill each year.
Seamless Circular Clothing Design Foundations
Seamless Circular Clothing Design Foundations is a two-hour online course which is free and exclusive to Seamless members and supporters. You’ll learn about the principles of circular design and identify practical starting points to integrate circular thinking in your organisation. If you belong to a Seamless member or supporter organisation, there’s no limit to the number of people that can attend from your organisation and a course presentation will be shared with you, which is yours to keep.
Seamless Circular Clothing Design Implementation
Seamless Circular Clothing Design Implementation is an in-depth course which provides designers with practical, technical skills in circular clothing design. This course is free for one representative from every clothing brand that is a Seamless member. Beginning with a one day in-person workshop in Melbourne or Sydney, you’ll get hands-on experience in designing a garment using circular design principles. You’ll also get the chance to present your final design to your peers in an online presentation held ten weeks after the workshop.

If you belong to a Seamless member or supporter organisation, your nominated Seamless contact will have received an email from us with everything you need to know, including course outlines and the link to register. The first sessions take place in late June 2025 and registrations close at 9:00am AEST on Monday 23 June. If you have questions or you’re the nominated Seamless contact and you haven’t received your email, please contact the Seamless team.
If you’re not a Seamless member or supporter, there’s never been a better time to join! If your organisation signs up before 9:00am AEST on Monday 23 June 2025, you will be eligible to attend this free training. Register your organisation by completing the relevant online form:
