Seamless is bringing Australian clothing and uniform brands together to explore how circular design can shape the future of fashion.
As part of the Melbourne Fashion Week 2026 independent event program, Seamless is hosting 'Designing Fashion’s Circular Future', a free panel discussion exploring how Australian clothing businesses are putting circular design into practice.
Taking place on Wednesday 21 October at Torrens University Melbourne campus (opposite Federation Square), the event will bring together brands working across clothing and uniforms to share what they are doing, what they are learning and the practical changes they are making to design clothing that lasts longer and can be more easily reused and recycled.
Hosted by Danielle Kent, General Manager, Industry Transformation at Seamless, the panel will explore some of the key decisions that can influence a garment’s circularity, from materials and fibre choices to garment design, trims, durability and end-of-life pathways.
The discussion will also draw on insights from Seamless’ circular design training, which is helping clothing and uniform businesses turn circular design principles into practical action.
