The new Seamless RE:THINK Program documents and amplifies circularity initiatives that are challenging business-as-usual, testing that just because "that's how we've always done it" doesn't mean it has to be that way. If you're a Seamless member or supporter, review the eligibility criteria and register your project today.
While Seamless is just getting started, many organisations are already making progress. There are initiatives underway which are advancing the principles of clothing circularity – from circular design projects and clothing rental and reuse schemes, through to textile recycling initiatives and clothing care guides to help customers enjoy their clothing for longer.
The Seamless RE:THINK Program is documenting these findings – the challenges you’re trying to solve, the approach you're taking, the activities you're implementing, the partners that are involved, the outcomes you're achieving and the obstacles you're facing along the way.
These findings and relevant data will then be shared across the Australian clothing industry and beyond, including with government and research organisations, to raise awareness for the need for change, while also providing relatable, practical information so others can support, replicate and implement change.
Your initiative could have already been completed, or it could still be underway – if you’re a Seamless member or supporter and you’re helping to transform the way we choose, enjoy and recycle clothing in Australia, then we want to amplify it.
Why join the Seamless RE:Think Program?
Seamless RE:THINK initiatives do just that – they encourage others to rethink how they’ve always done things. If your initiative is accepted into the RE:THINK Program it will be developed into practical resources and content that will be amplified to Seamless audiences. Importantly, it will also contribute to baseline data which will inform our national approach.
Your organisation and your project partners will be recognised and promoted to local, state and federal government organisations, clothing brands and retailers, and organisations across the clothing value chain from technology providers and educational providers, to repair, reuse and recycling operators. You may also get access to media and event opportunities.
