Last month, we celebrated one year of Seamless at our inaugural showcase event, Seamless Impact 2025—bringing industry, government and community together to reflect on what we've collectively achieved and what’s ahead.
We heard from Seamless CEO Ainsley Simpson, who reflected on what we have collectively achieved and looked forward to the year ahead when Seamless is prioritising partnerships and practical action. She announced that Seamless has received grant funding from the Australian Government to support a coordinated national clothing system for Australia.
We also enjoyed a discussion with Pip Kiernan, Chair of Clean Up Australia, whose passion and clarity was truly inspiring.
A panel featuring leaders from eBay Australia, The Volte and Cotton On shared insights on real-world shifts already underway in reuse and resale —and explored how partnerships between clothing brands, platforms, and Seamless are driving innovation and action toward a circular clothing future.
Prof. Dr. Jacqueline Cramer, former Minister for the Netherlands with responsibility for the environment portfolio and emeritus professor of sustainable innovation, shared her international perspective on collaboration, accountability and scaling circular systems.
