What happens to our clothes once they can’t be worn any longer and why is it so hard to know what to do next? Find out at our panel discussion as part of the AFC Talks presented by Afterpay at AFC Australian Fashion Week 2026.

Hosted by Seamless CEO, Ainsley Simpson, you'll hear about what it really takes to keep clothes in circulation. From brands building repair and resale into their business models, to an Australian-first trial where you can return unwanted clothes as easily as posting a parcel, this is where circularity gets real.

What’s working, what’s not, and what needs to change to make collecting, reusing and recycling clothing as normal as bottles or batteries.

We'll be joined by panellists, Gayle Burchell, Chief Commercial & Sustainability Officer at THE ICONIC; David Leslie, Founder of Gali Swimwear; and Daniela Vlahovic, Marketing Manager at Suzanne Grae.

The Talk will be held:

10am to 11am AEST on Friday 15 May 2026
AFC Theatre, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA), Sydney.
