Circular design training for Seamless members
Registrations for our circular clothing design training are now open exclusively for Seamless members.
Start by joining our Circular Clothing Design Foundations course, then designers and product developers can go on to complete the in depth course on Circular Clothing Design Implementation.

A circular clothing industry is one where responsible stewardship is embedded across the lifecycle from clothing design and production, through to how we enjoy our clothes and recirculate them at the end of their useful life. Seamless circular design training leverages the 'Refashioning' circular design guide for clothing brands, a collaboration led by RMIT University’s School of Fashion and Textiles. It helps you to understand the importance of materials, use, durability and end of life options early on in the clothing design process, so you can harness the potential of a circular clothing model and significantly reduce the 222,000 tonnes of clothing that goes to Australian landfill each year.

Circular Clothing Design Implementation
Seamless Circular Clothing Design Implementation is an in depth course which provides designers with practical, technical skills in circular clothing design. Beginning with a one day in-person workshop in Melbourne or Sydney, you’ll get hands-on experience in designing a garment using circular design principles. You’ll also get the chance to present your final design to your peers in an online presentation held ten weeks after the workshop. This course can be attended by one representative from every Seamless member organisation free of charge.
