With our establishment phase well progressed, Seamless is now seeking a permanent Independent Chair to help lead the transition to a circular clothing economy in Australia.
Clothing Stewardship Australia Ltd. administers Seamless, the national response to enable the Australian clothing industry to do what no single organisation can do alone: Transform how Australians choose, enjoy and recycle their clothes. With our establishment phase well progressed, Seamless Interim Chair, Rosanna Iacono, will be transitioning to her substantive role as an Independent Director and we are now seeking a permanent Independent Chair.
This is an opportunity to lead the start-up phase of the world’s first circular product stewardship scheme. Seamless is an innovative not-for-profit enabling impact through transformation of the clothing industry. The role is backed by a strong board of ten Directors, the Company Secretary plus the CEO. The Board is supported by two sub-committees; Finance, Audit and Risk, plus Governance and Nominations.
The Chair is responsible for steering strategic direction and making decisions to deliver on the Seamless vision and purpose. In this role, you will be central to the effectiveness of the Board and its members, ensuring accountability for impact across the four strategic priorities for Seamless and advocating for sector-wide transformation.
